Update/Change in Circumstances
If your change in circumstances involves you becoming homeless, or threatened with homelessness, please follow the Homeless Prevention advice provided by Fife Council.
Change in Circumstances
You must tell us if your circumstances change, as this may affect your points.
You can do this by:
- by filling out the Update an applicaton for Fife Housing Register online form. Please note, you must only fill out this form if you already have a current live Fife Housing Register application.
- by calling 03451 55 00 33
- by visiting a Fife Council Customer Service Centre or
- by visiting a Fife Housing Register Partner Office
Withdrawing your Application
If you no longer need to be housed by one or more of the Fife Housing Register Partners, you should withdraw your application so that we know not to contact you for reviews and offers. You can do this by:
- by filling out the Update an applicaton for Fife Housing Register online form. Please note, you must only fill out this form if you already have a current live Fife Housing Register application.

- by visiting a Fife Housing Register Partner Office

Service Update
14th July 2025 - FHR Team Emails
From the 14th July the FHR Team will no longer be able to reply to individual emails due to additional pressures caused by the Housing Emergency. This email address should continue to be used to provide additional information regarding your application, an automatic reply will confirm we have received your information.
June 2023 - The Fife Housing Register Team have moved base from New City House, Dunfermline to Brunton House, Cowdenbeath. Any Post being sent to the FHR Team should be sent to the following;
Fife Housing Register Team, Cowdenbeath Customer Service Centre, Brunton House, High Street, Cowdenbeath, KY4 9QU.
